Climate values of Turkey

The climate of Turkey is stamped by extremes. It is the land of summer, as well as the land of winter. In wide parts of the land you can experience all four annual times.

In the south and the north Turkey is surrounded by sea. To the east the connection with the Asian plateau exists. These mountains reach from the Caucasus up to the Himalayas in the east. The highland of Anatolia (middle height position of the land more than 1100 metres!) strengthens the extremes (according to season). Here you will find climate data from the most important cities.
